Unamplified music (Classical, Jazz, and Light) is the foucs of the new Herne Hill Festival, which runs from 17 to 24 September.
The Festival begins with two free events on Sat 17 September. At 11.00 there will be a String Quartet performance at the Carnegie Library. From 14.00-16.00 there will be an open rehearsal of new music by London composers, with the LCCO, at the Methodist Hall, 155 Half Moon Lane.
On Sun 18, after a performance by the Dulwich Ukulele Club at Brockwell Hall, there will be a performance of Mozart's Wind Serenade by the Astraeus Ensemble at 14.00 at the Half Moon Tavern.
