Have you noticed that something seems to be going on there?
A meeting took place on 13 September, with a positive outcome from both Network Rail and South East Trains, who share responsibility.
The result is that, as well as upgrading the former carpet shop, the floor will be levelled and resurfaced, with better drainage, the barriers will be removed and 'No Cycling' notices put up. Also the white anti-graffiti panels may be removed, leaving bare brickwork which would need anti-graffiti treatment.
But no-one is sure what is behind the panels, hence the vague plan....
What about those that choose to cycle through the newly opened route? Will there be CCTV and some form of enforcement? Even with those barriers I have been almost mown down by people on bikes, who only are slowed by the barriers....

There is in fact CCTV already installed there. The problem, as always, is enforcement.
